Hey friends! Happy Tuesday!

I’m so excited to be able to blog again.. thank you wifi gods!

This weeks topic is top 10 contemporaries. I used to not be a huge fan of contemporaries but I’ve learned to love them! I appreciate them so much more now then when I first started reading, and they’re slowly becoming my favorite genre! So lets get started… this is in no particular order… except for the final one, it’s my ALL TIME FAVORITE 🙂

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before- Jenny HanImage result for to all the boys i've loved before

This is such a cute read! I went into it not thinking much or that I was really going to enjoy it, but it’s such a light and easy read I absolutely loved it! I’m so excited that theres a third book coming out, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Since You’ve Been Gone- Morgan Matson

I LOVED this one! I loved Emily and Sloane’s friendship, as they reminded me of my best friend and I. It was such a great story with such solid characters, it was just great!

Fangirl- Rainbow RowellImage result for fangirl rainbow rowell

Okay so who doesn’t love this one?! Cath is just like all of us, and has the cutest boy! I think I loved it so much because of how well I could connect. Hopefully I find a Levi one day!

Anna and The French Kiss- Stephanie PerkinsImage result for anna and the french kiss

Okay not only is the cover gorgeous, but this is the cutest and fluffiest read ever. I just love it.

Isla and the Happily Ever After- Stephanie PerkinsImage result for isla and the happily ever after

Same thing as Anna, ugh it’s just so cute and such a great ending to the companion series! I just loved the characters so much!

This story really hits home for me and it’s unlike anything I’ve ever read before. I felt every emotion while reading this book, and I fell so hard in love with the characters. I just love everything about it. Colleen Hoover is queen. that is all.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Most Intimidating Series.

Top Ten Tuesday meme that was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic: REWIND Go back and do a topic from the past.

I chose Top Ten Most Intimidating series because theres so many I want to read, but I’m just nervous to get into it… Lets hop right in!

#1 Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

outlander-book-series

Okay, I know people love these books, but they’re freaking huge. I thought about starting the series, but just knowing me I feel as if I’ll never finish them considering how huge the books are… I’m very intimidated by these.

#2 Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead

succubus series

I LOVED Richelle Mead’s  Vampire Academy & Bloodlines series, so much that I went and collected all of her books. I own all of the books in this series, but I have yet to start it. I think I’m worried that since I loved VA so much, that this won’t live up to it.

#3 The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling

I KNOW I KNOW, its CRAZY I haven’t read Harry Potter yet.. As a kid I wasn’t huge on reading, but now it’s so hyped up I’m a little nervous. Plus, the books toward the end of the series are quite large. I know I’ll get to these eventually, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t intimidating.

#4 Falling Kingdoms by Morgan RhodesAllCovers

I’ve been interested in this series for a while now, but for some reason I’m intimidated to start it. It’s hyped up by some booktubers I watch, and I’m worried it wont live up to the hype. These are also books that I feel I have to be in the mood for, which I haven’t been yet.

#5 The Bronze Horseman Trilogy by Paulina Simons

the-bronze-horseman

I really want to read these books! They sound soo good to me. I’ve never read historical fiction before, so it would be a new thing for me. These books are also very large… I know I’ll probably like them, but just starting them is intimidating!

That’s my list! What books/ series intimidate you?! Have you read any of mine?

Let me know!

xoxo
